What's New and What is Not New at All
The release of a report today from the President's Cancer Panel about the need for stronger and more rigorous regulation of chemicals (Nicholas Kristof article on the Op-Ed page of today's New York Times) is very new, coming as it does from what Kristof describes as a mainstream Panel.
What is not new is what many in the scientific and advocacy communities have known for a long time about the connections between exposures to chemicals and the risk of cancer (and other diseases as well).
