SHARELeaders Participated in Avastin Decision
The FDA's determination that Avastin not be approved for women with metastatic disease comes after ODAC (Oncology Drug Advisory Committee) heard testimony in October that included SHARELeaders. The FDA also reviewed additional material submitted by Genentech, the pharmaceutical company that makes Avastin. See today's article in NY Times.
