SHARE's Metastatic Breast Cancer Services

SHARE brings women living with metastatic breast cancer together to support one another and to provide advice and assistance to others dealing with this disease.

Metastatic Hotline

SHARE's group of Metastatic Hotline volunteers include women of all ages who have been living with metastatic disease anywhere from one year to many years. We have been trained by SHARE to help callers, and many of us have graduated from Project LEAD, the National Breast Cancer Coalition's training course in the science of breast cancer.

Metastatic Support Groups

SHARE provides support groups for women living with metastatic breast cancer. Some groups meet in person in New York City; others meet on the telephone through a toll-free call-in service. You can register for our support groups by calling the SHARE Breast Hotline.

Education about Metastatic Breast Cancer

Women living with metastatic disease need to educate ourselves about our disease and share this information with each other. We need to advocate for ourselves by becoming partners with our doctors and nurses. We seek to extend our lives and improve our quality of life. SHARE is continually developing new vehicles to make this happen.
