SHARE's Ovarian Cancer Hotline is staffed by ovarian cancer survivors in various regions throughout New York State.

Introducing Our Regional Coordinators

Three of our Ovarian Cancer Hotline volunteers now serve as Regional Coordinators in their communities, helping us to extend SHARE's reach into upstate communities in Binghamton, Buffalo and Hudson Valley, by:

  • training new Ovarian Cancer Hotline volunteers to serve on the Hotline
  • facilitating educational programs on ovarian cancer at non-profit organizations and corporations
  • informing the public about ovarian cancer symptoms through conducting media interviews
  • disseminating SHARE's ovarian cancer educational leaflets

We are proud to introduce you to Cheryl Kurosky, Chrystine Tedeschi, and Gwen Harding-Peets.

Funds for this initiative are part of a larger grant SHARE this year through the New York State Legislature.
