Natural Cosmetics without Soy

I am allergic to soy.  Are there any natural cosmetic products that do not have soy? -- Sharon Barrett

Hi Sharon... being allergic to soy seems to be a running theme in my life lately. I am also allergic to soy, but only when ingested.

It seems that there are only a few companies that do not use soy in their makeup. The 3 best I would recommend are Coastal Classic Creations, www.coastalclassiccreations.com, although their colors are very deep and organic looking. Another cosmetic/skincare line is Shaklee, www.myshaklee.com; they have more fun and you can buy more pink tones. Then there is Gardenbotanika, www.gardenbotanika.com, which lists its ingredients right on its page.... good luck!!!

I asked mineral fusion make up if any of their products contain soy. Most of the face make up contains vitamin E which can be derived from soy, but according to them it is derived from sunflowers. However, some of their products such as mascara and eyeliner DO contain soy listed on their ingredients. I am assuming there can be a cross contamination with soy between these products but I havent asked yet. However, the concealers and foundation DO NOT contain soy derived vitamin E, but from sunflowers and no soy is listed in their ingredients. I hope their information is accurate.
