This is the first workshop in a new educational series, Young Women and Breast Cancer: The Empowerment Series, designed to help young women affected by breast cancer take charge of their health, get informed, and live well. This series is a collaboration between SHARE and Young Survival Coalition Coalition NYC and is made possible through a grant to SHARE from the Beth C. Tortolani Foundation.
Tessa Cigler, MD, medical oncologist and clinical investigator at the Weill Cornell Breast Center, will discuss what young women affected by breast cancer should know about hormonal treatments.
