October 13 is Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Come spend the evening with SHARE. Learn about new cutting-edge treatments and clinical trials that are being developed to treat metastatic breast cancer. Discuss how we as patients and advocates can ensure that new research meets our needs.
Dr. Maura Dickler, Assistant Attending Physician, Breast Cancer Medicine Service, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and Musa Mayer, advocate and author of Advanced Breast Cancer: Living with Metastatic Disease and creator of the website AdvancedBC.org, will discuss these important issues.
Come hear what's new, and learn how you can participate in advocating for better treatments for women with metastatic disease. In collaboration with the Young Survival Coalition.
Please register by calling 212-719-2943, ext. 338 or sending email to iwinkler@sharecancersupport.org (include workshop title in subject line).
