Young Women and Breast Cancer: The Empowerment Series

This series, sponsored by SHARE in collaboration with Young Survival Coalition NYC is designed to empower young women affected by breast cancer to take charge of their health, get informed and live well. 

The Empowerment Series will address topics like nutrition; fertility, pregnancy and adoption; exercise; quality of life issues for young women living with metastatic breast cancer; chemo brain; and sexuality and intimacy. Workshops will be held in locations around Manhattan.

Upcoming Programs

Lymphedema: Risk Reduction and Management Strategies. Ting-Ting Kuo, PT, DPT, WCS, CLT, Board Certified, Women's Health Physical Therapy, NYU Langone/Rusk Institute, will present on causes, treatment, and ways to reduce risk of lymphedema.  Q & A will follow.  Location information
