Nueva Vida Latina Survivors and Caregivers Intervention Study
Attention Latina breast cancer survivors and caregivers (loved ones) who live in the Metropolitan Area of New York City!
We seek Latina breast cancer survivors and caregivers (loved ones) for an important research study. We want to learn more about how to best support survivors and caregivers. You can help us!
Any Latina breast cancer survivor who has a caregiver or loved one can participate. Survivors and caregivers who take part will complete some surveys by telephone and will take part in either a new program we are offering or our current programs.
The workshops will be conducted in Spanish and held at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan.
Since this is a randomized study, you will have a 50% chance of being selected to participate in the study group.
The study will help cover costs of transportation, childcare (if needed) and time involved with completing surveys.
Survivors and caregivers will be provided with gift cards to thank them for their time in the study.
All survivors and caregivers are welcome to continue using services available at SHARE.
We would love to hear from you to tell you more! For more information, please contact us at 212-221-1750.
SHARE is a study partner with Georgetown University. The study is funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI): AD-12-11-5365.
