Did you know that SHARE has an ovarian cancer support group in Lehigh Valley, PA? Donna Barats, a survivor of Stage 3 ovarian cancer, has been running the support group with gusto for over a year. Donna has been a fearless ovarian cancer patient advocate in her community, raising awareness by organizing events and even landing on local tv!
Last week Stephanie Blaufarb, Ovarian Cancer Program Director, and Andrea Herzberg, Ovarian Cancer Helpline Manager, took a road trip to PA to visit and support this dedicated volunteer. Thank you, Donna, for all that you do!
