Aggressive Breast Cancers in Black Women

Dr. Christine Ambrosone and Dr. Song Yao will be discussing aggressive breast cancers in black women. There are striking disparities in survival between black and white patients, and Dr. Ambrosone and Dr. Yao have led a team that has done extensive research to understand the causes of more aggressive cancer in black women. Results from their research may open the door to treatment intervention that could help eliminate these disparities. Please join us as Dr. Ambrosone and Dr. Yao go over their research and discuss how we can work towards the elimination of racial gaps in breast cancer survival.
