Why did you decide to be a SHARE Breast Cancer Helpline volunteer?

 I was a clinical social worker when I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) and was looking for ways to support myself and to help others.

I want to give hope to those newly diagnosed, particularly to those who are young and have been diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer and/or advanced stage breast cancer.

It is an interesting story because I never actually thought I would facilitate another group! I was a clinical social worker who facilitated many groups in the hospital and in my private practice.
