Taboo Discussions in the Black Breast Cancer Community

We recognize the challenges Black women face when it comes to talking about intimacy and desire. How do you get your groove back, or have you resigned yourself to lower libido? How do you and your partner define intimacy and desire? Know you are not alone. These can be uncomfortable and emotional conversations with yourself and your partner. Join us for tips on communicating with your partner and reframing how you see your post-cancer body.

If you're a Black woman breast cancer survivor, join us on Thursday, October 24th at 7:30pm EST. The facilitators are Lisa P. Nelson, LMSW, OSW-C, and Megan-Claire Chase, invasive lobular (ILC) breast cancer survivor and SHARE's Breast Cancer Program Director. You'll get the opportunity to share your stories and experiences with fellow survivors and learn new ways to cope with the challenges of breast cancer.
