Part 2: When Cancer Treatment Causes Menopause - The Emotional Impact

Register Online

Cancer treatment changes the relationship a survivor has with their body. In the second of this two-part series, we will discuss the emotional impact of menopause that is caused by cancer treatment. Shifts in hormones, surgical scars, changes in sensitivity, discomfort or pain can be overwhelming and emotional to experience. Feelings of loss, disconnect, anger, imperfection and shame are normal to have but can be uncomfortable or complicated to navigate. Take part in this conversation as together we openly discuss the relationship you have with your body. Come to connect, find others who share a similar private experience and find support as you heal and reclaim the important relationship with your body.
