Dr. Dizon “Coping with October”

“I feel empowered now after listening to Dr. Dizon. I care about women being diagnosed with BC and can share their emotions prior to MBC.”

Thank you for your Share email which included “February Webinars”. I truly enjoyed Mei Fu’s “Persistent and Intermittent Pain after Breast Cancer Treatment”. Due to Muscle Sparing Reconstruction Flap breast cancer surgery back in 2012, I live with persistent lower abdominal/groin pain *and* tingling down my leg and foot (all on the leftside of my body). I found Mei Fu’s talk educational, helpful and uplifting. It was gratifying to know that I am doing the right thing for my pain, i.e., deep breathing, stretching and exercising. Additional, her mention of the “Precision Medicine Initiative” encouraged me to Google and readup on the subject.

Thank you for a wellspent Sunday afternoon.

Gladys J.
