COVID-19 Updates for Cancer Patients

Dr. Michele Andrasik, Director of the COVID-19 Prevention Network at Fred Hutch, Dr. Monika Shah Infectious Disease Specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Dr. Warner Huh, immediate past president of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology and chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, discuss the necessary precautions to take after being vaccinated, possible boosters, the evolution and risks of variants and how vaccines protect us against these variants. They also address the continued disparities that are highlighted by COVID and the importance of health equity.
