Our Team
“I have always wanted a fulfilling career where I could help people. Before SHARE, I had interned at hospitals and cancer research centers. I learned about SHARE through an internship and I loved working here, surrounded by compassionate and friendly people. I am honored and grateful that I have been given the opportunity to come back to SHARE and continue to help make a difference.”

“I first worked with SHARE as a consultant in cultural competency and the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. I was impressed by the many programs, services and support offered by SHARE’s dedicated and passionate women. When I was asked to apply for my current position, I felt honored to be considered. Now I feel honored to be a part of such a dynamic organization. My areas of particular interest include programming, training, and support services for women with metastatic disease, BRCA-gene-related cancer and triple-negative breast cancer. As a clinical social worker who has been treated for breast cancer, I hope to build a program that meets the unique needs of women with advanced disease.”

“Eradicating womens health disparities and making resources accessible for all is something I’ve always been passionate about. I joined SHARE because I felt strongly about its mission to connect women affected by breast cancer to trusted information and a community of support. I am proud to work with an amazing team dedicated to providing programming and resources that will help women in their unique journey. My educational background includes a BA in Comparative Womens’ Studies from Spelman College. I look forward to providing support to the SHARE community.”

“I am very glad to have the opportunity to work with an organization like SHARE Cancer Support. I now have the chance to expand my knowledge about women’s cancers and also be a part of helping and educating others in the process. I myself have experienced how cancer can affect women; having lost both my Mother to Metastatic Breast Cancer and Grandmother to Uterine Cancer (who was also a 3x Breast Cancer Survivor). My goal is to make them proud and help be a part of a bigger goal to educate, empower and assist all women with what I didn’t have when they were around.. SHARE Cancer Support.”

“With more than a decade of experience working in both hospitals and nonprofit organizations, I am excited to help expand SHARE’s mission into the Chinese community. I am thrilled to be joining this team of passionate staff and volunteers in order to support SHARE’s values, especially to the monolingual and medically underrepresented group. My Chinese background allows me great understanding of the unique cultural variations in the disparate Chinese community when handling cancer. With the wide variety of cultural values, that sensitivity will be used to bring the best services from SHARE to the Chinese community.”
