Volunteer with SHARE!
Helpline volunteers provide telephone support to people affected by breast, ovarian, uterine, cervical, or metastatic breast cancer. To volunteer, you must be a breast, ovarian, uterine, or cervical cancer survivor, or living with metastatic breast cancer, and you must be go through training. Volunteers should have availability during the daytime, evening, and/or weekends. Currently, all volunteers are working from home.
Requirements:
- You must have been diagnosed with early-stage or metastatic breast, ovarian, uterine, or cervical cancer.
- You should be a minimum of one year from your diagnosis.
- All volunteers must attend training sessions. Training is offered virtually throughout the year.
- Volunteers are required to take part in a total of four SHARE educational webinars annually.
- Access to a smartphone, tablet or computer and is needed.
