Volunteer with SHARE!

We're interested in providing volunteer opportunities that best fulfill your interests and use your unique skills. Following are some volunteer opportunities, but please feel free to suggest other ways you would like to participate.

Helpline Volunteers and Support Group Facilitators

Helpline volunteers provide telephone support to people affected by breast or ovarian cancer. Requirements: you must be a breast or ovarian cancer survivor and you must be trained. Volunteers can work from the SHARE office or from home in the daytime, evening, and on the weekend. Support group facilitators lead and moderate one of SHARE's support groups. Responsibilities include beginning and ending each session, listening to attendees, providing encouragement, and furthering conversation among the group.
