Holding Our Own: Our Lives with Metastatic Breast Cancer

Eliza, Annie, Shirley, Katrina, Joan, and Edith have metastatic breast cancer (MBC), and they’re living with it, one day at a time.

Each one is pursuing treatment, building strong relationships with their doctors, accepting the support of friends and family. Their experiences of MBC are varied, but support, community, and a sense of control are helping them live their best lives despite this disease.

Theirs are stories of challenge and uncertainty, but also of empowerment. These women are facing MBC with strength and clear vision, making the decisions that are right for them, seeking and finding the support and love they need.
