This support group is virtual and meets via Zoom. In order to participate in a SHARE support group, you must have received an official breast cancer diagnosis from your oncologist.
The AYA Breast Cancer support group meets every 4th Wednesday of the month via Zoom. This new support group is specifically for those under 40 years old with early-stage breast cancer (stage 0 thru stage III). It will be facilitated by AYA breast cancer patient and nurse by trade Julia Laursen along with two other AYA breast cancer survivors Elena and Alexandra.
This support group will discuss the unique challenges young adults face such as fertility, careers, raising a young family while going through treatment, and so much more. You are not alone. Join us to share your experience and expertise while also learning from others.
*Registration is required for new participants.
Please note the support group facilitators are SHARE volunteers and breast cancer survivors. They are unable to give specific medical advice.
If you have any issues when registering, please call 844.ASK.SHARE (844.275.7427) or email shareprograms@sharecancersupport.org.
*AYA stands for adolescent and young adults diagnosed with cancer under 40 years old.
