Let’s Talk About It: Black Women with Breast Cancer (Your HERstory Matters: Writing & Vlogging Your Breast Cancer Journey)

Every breast cancer patient has a unique story; sharing it is entirely your choice. In a world where Black stories are sometimes suppressed due to biased algorithms, it’s important to know that your story and voice matter. You have the power to decide when, how, and with whom you share your experience—whether with friends, family, colleagues, or the public. Writing can be a powerful way to process your journey with no pressure or time limit. Even a simple social media comment or a short video can be a meaningful way to share your voice.

Join us in a supportive space to connect with others and reflect on your story. Come prepared with 2-3 sentences of an experience you’re comfortable sharing—whether on camera or in the chat. See you on Thursday, July 24th at 7pm. Let’s talk about it!
