Healing after breast cancer and/or living with metastatic breast cancer is more than physical recovery. It’s about supporting the whole person. This educational session explores how integrative, holistic approaches can complement conventional cancer care while honoring culture, identity, and lived experience.
Moderated by oncology social worker Lisa P. Nelson, DSW, LMSW, OSW-C, this conversation features Dr. Daniel Kellman, ND, FABNO, IFMCP, a naturopathic doctor at City of Hope with extensive experience supporting patients from diverse and minoritized communities. Dr. Kellman will share how integrative care can help manage side effects, support long-term wellness, and empower patients to advocate for care that reflects their values and needs. SHARE’s Breast Cancer Program Director and survivor, Megan-Claire Chase, will open the session and set the stage for a thoughtful, community-centered discussion.
