Our Volunteer Party is a way to thank and celebrate you, our incredible volunteers. Join us on Monday, February 22, for an evening of games, prizes, a dance party, and more!
Here are four drink recipes, two mocktails and two cocktails, picked especially for the evening. Be sure to make one of your own and cheers to all of your hard work during our special event:
1. The Mary Pickford
Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz. white rum
1 1/2 oz. unsweetened pineapple juice
1 tsp. maraschino liqueur
1/4 tsp. grenadine
Cherry, for serving
Directions:
Step one: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake rum, pineapple juice, liqueur, and grenadine.
Step two: Strain into a coup and serve with cherry.
2. Chocolate Martini
Ingredients:
2 tbsp. chocolate syrup, plus more for drizzling
4 oz. Baileys
4 oz. chocolate liqueur
4 oz. Smirnoff vodka
Ice
Shaved chocolate (optional)
Directions:
Step one: Pour chocolate syrup onto a shallow plate. Dip rim of martini glasses into chocolate syrup to coat rims. Drizzle the inside of each glass with chocolate syrup.
Step two: Combine Baileys, chocolate liqueur, and vodka in a large cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake until thoroughly chilled, about 20 seconds. Divide evenly between glasses. If using, top with shaved chocolate. Serve.
3. Raspberry’s Bees Knees
Ingredients:
1 oz filtered water
.5 oz lemon
.5 oz honey
2 raspberries + 1 raspberry for garnish
Directions:
Step one: Shake ingredients with ice and strain into glass with two raspberries.
Step two: Top with seltzer water and garnish with one raspberry.
4. Coconut, Cucumber, Lime and Mint Cooler
Ingredients:
4 cups of coconut water
2 cucumbers sliced very thin
.5 cup of lime juice
.25 cup of sugar (optional)
.25 cup of chopped mint leaves
Directions:
Step one: Combine coconut water, cucumbers, lime juice, sugar and mint leaves.
Step two: Let sit for 1-2 hours and serve.
