Listen to two-time breast cancer survivor Dawn Freeman in a special pre-recorded conversation exploring the healing potential of yoga for those affected by breast cancer. Dawn is trained in yoga, Reiki, and Mindful Self-Compassion meditation, and integrates Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) and principles from A Course in Miracles into her practice. These tools help reduce stress, promote healing, and support the prevention of chronic disease. She also shares how she first turned to yoga to help manage anxiety and physical pain during her cancer journey—and how it became a lifelong practice of self-care and empowerment.
Together, we will explore the history of yoga, its connection to healing, and why it can be especially beneficial for those navigating breast cancer treatment and survivorship. Whether you’re new to yoga or curious about how it can support your mental and physical well-being, this conversation offers insights and encouragement from someone who truly understands.
This program will be available to watch on the SHARE Cancer Support website in early to mid-August.
