Let’s Talk About It: Black Women with Breast Cancer (Holding Space for Joy, Grief & Hope: Reflecting on the Year Together)

As the year comes to a close, the holiday season can bring a mix of emotions for many people living with or beyond breast cancer. While this time of year is often associated with celebration and togetherness, it can also magnify feelings of grief, loneliness, anxiety, fatigue, financial stress, or the lingering effects of treatment such as chemo brain and depression. For others, the holidays may look different than they once did, requiring new traditions, adjusted expectations, or simply permission to rest.

Join us for a compassionate year-end conversation where we will reflect on the challenges and moments of joy that shaped 2026. Together, we’ll create space to celebrate resilience, acknowledge loss, and enter the new year with hope, along with the reminder that there is no “right” way to experience the holidays after breast cancer.
