We’re proud to announce the first-ever AfroSHARE Summit, which will take place on June 24, 2025, in New York City and via livestream.
The AfroSHARE Summit is the first of its kind: a day dedicated to highlighting gynecologic and breast cancers in Black communities. Our aim is to amplify lived experiences and move from insights to meaningful action.
The event will bring together patients, survivors, caregivers, advocates, clinicians, researchers, and healthcare leaders for a day rooted in culture, care, and connection.
Throughout the day, we will address the real barriers Black individuals face across the cancer care continuum—and work together to imagine a more equitable future. Through honest panel discussions, interactive sessions, and collaborative brainstorming, we will transform these insights into collective strength and action.
Attendees will gain vital knowledge about early warning signs and symptoms, resources to confidently advocate for themselves and their communities, and tools for rebuilding trust in a healthcare system that too often falls short.
We welcome everyone who is committed to listening, learning, and contributing to change, regardless of background, ethnicity, and identity. Together, we are working to build a future of Empowerment, Community, and Impact.
