• Express Bus: Riverdale-Mid-Manhattan Express bus to Riverdale Avenue and West 256th Street. Contact the MTA for schedules and information.
• Subway: IRT No. 1 train to Broadway and West 231st Street. Take bus No. 7 or No. 10 (must indicate stops above West 246th Street.) to West 256th Street, cross over Riverdale Avenue, turn right on Arlington Avenue, Y is on your left.

By Car

• From Queens and Long Island: Grand Central Parkway westbound to Triboro Bridge. Follow signs (right lanes) for Harlem River Drive and then to George Washington Bridge (don't worry, you're not going over it, just toward it),/span>. Exit 24, on left, merge into far right lane (marked "last exit in N.Y.") for Henry Hudson Parkway (9A) northbound. Follow signs (a left and a right) on to Henry Hudson Parkway North. Take the Henry Hudson Parkway northbound past the bridge to Exit 22 (West 253rd Street and Riverdale Avenue). Approach exit slowly. At stop sign, turn right, then make the next right (on to Riverdale Avenue) and a left at the second light (West 256th Street) Turn right on Arlington Avenue, the Y is on your left.
• From Brooklyn: Brooklyn Bridge to FDR Drive northbound. Follow signs onto Harlem River Drive to Exit 24 on left; merge into far right lane (marked "last exit in N.Y.") for Henry Hudson Parkway (9A) northbound. Follow signs (a left and a right) on to Henry Hudson Parkway North. Take the Henry Hudson Parkway northbound past the bridge to Exit 22 (West 253rd Street and Riverdale Avenue). Approach exit slowly. At stop sign, turn right, then make the next right (on to Riverdale Avenue),/span> and a left at the second light (West 256th Street). Turn right on Arlington Avenue, the Y is on your left.
• From Manhattan: West Side Highway northbound, which becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway. Take the Henry Hudson Parkway northbound past the bridge to Exit 22 (West 253rd Street and Riverdale Avenue). Approach exit slowly. At stop sign, turn right, then make the next right (on to Riverdale Avenue) and a left at the second light (West 256th Street). Turn right on Arlington Avenue, the Y is on your left.
• From Westchester: Saw Mill River Parkway southbound which becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway. Exit 22 (West 254th Street and Riverdale Avenue). At stop sign, turn left. At first light, turn right on to Riverdale Avenue. At next light (West 256th Street), turn left. At second block, turn right on to Arlington Ave. The Y will be on the left.

By train:

• A or C to Nostrand Avenue Station

By train:

• N, Q, R to 49th Street
• 1 to 50th Street
• A, C, E to 42nd St/ Port Authority Bus Terminal
• B, D, F, M to 47-50th Streets/ Rockefeller Center
• 4, 5, or 6 to Grand Central 42nd Street and transfer to the shuttle train (S) to Times Square/ 42nd Street
