The following resources may be useful as you or a loved one navigate a cervical cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Foundation for Women’s Cancer

The Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing research, education, and awareness about gynecologic cancer risk, prevention, early detection, and optimal treatment. The FWC is the official foundation of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO).

Cervivor

Cervivor is a nonprofit organization that brings cervical cancer survivors together to spread awareness and provide support. In addition to offering peer support and programs, they also host “Cervivor School,” where individuals can obtain the tools needed to become a patient advocate.

National Cervical Cancer Coalition

The National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NCCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving women with, or at risk for, cervical cancer and HPV disease. They provide educational materials and tools for prevention, and conduct extensive outreach during Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.

National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program

The National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP) is a CDC program that for 30 years has provided women who have low incomes and are uninsured or underserved access to timely breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services.

Stupid Cancer

Stupid Cancer is an adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer organization focused on building community through meetups, webinars, and their yearly event, CancerCon.

CancerCare

CancerCare provides support services and information to help people manage the emotional, practical, and financial challenges of cancer. They provide counseling, support groups, educational workshops, and financial assistance.

Triage Cancer

Triage Cancer is a national nonprofit focused on the legal and practical issues that individuals and caregivers impacted by cancer may face. Triage Cancer holds conferences, webinars, and training, and their website includes useful resources on a variety of topics.

Cancer and Careers empowers and educates people with cancer to thrive in their workplace, by providing expert advice, interactive tools, and educational events.

Imerman Angels

Imerman Angels’ mission is to provide comfort and understanding to all cancer fighters, survivors, previvors, and caregivers through free, personalized one-on-one support from someone who has been there.

First Descents

First Descents provides outdoor adventures for young adults impacted by cancer.

American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization that is dedicated to eliminating cancer. They have global cancer programs, provide support and educational resources, and offer financial assistance.

Livestrong Foundation

The Livestrong Foundation strives to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. They provide cancer support services and community programs, and they are committed to creating system change.

Society of Gynecologic Oncology

The Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) is an organization working to promote and ensure the highest quality of comprehensive clinical care through excellence in education and research in gynecologic cancers.
