SHARE mourns the loss of Dr. Susan Love – a fierce, outspoken breast cancer surgeon and advocate who educated the world with the breast cancer bible: Dr. Susan Love’s Breast Book. Dr. Love had a tremendous impact on the lives of those diagnosed with breast cancer by providing comprehensive information about the disease and it’s treatment as well as the “Collateral Damage” so many experience as a result of cancer’s harsh treatment. Generous with her time and knowledge, Dr. Love provided some of SHARE’S first webinars – helpling us educate the people we serve. Dr. Love’s humor, warmth, experience and knowledge will be surely missed – and her teachings will live on through the patients and advocates she treated and supported.
