A Second Helping of Life is back and in person for the first time in three years, and we hope to see you at the celebration! Our 2023 gala is dedicated to lifting up the voice of the patient as we gather for a festive evening at the elegant Tribeca 360. With sweeping views of lower Manhattan, it’s the perfect venue for a landmark event.
A Second Helping of Life will feature a cocktail reception, a brief program spotlighting our 2023 honorees and the voices of the patients we serve, and a special performance of a world premiere song – written especially for SHARE! – from two Broadway luminaries, composer and songwriter David Friedman, and actress and cabaret singer Linda Kahn.
2023 honorees include former SHARE Board President Angelica Cantlon, recipient of the Anne Grant Advocacy Leadership Award in recognition of her remarkable commitment throughout her tenure leading the Board, and Corporate Champion Award recipient Daiichi Sankyo, in recognition of their leadership in patient advocacy in the metastatic breast cancer community.
The evening will also feature a tasting event with cuisines that spotlight and celebrate the many cultures of SHARE’s diverse programs. Guests will be able to mingle and socialize as they savor delectable dishes of countries from Mexico to China, and learn more about the flavors of the SHARE community.
We hope you will join us for this very special evening that marks an important return to connecting in person for SHARE, as well as an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year. A Second Helping of Life also raises critical funds for all of our free programs – your purchase of a ticket or a table ensures that no one has to face a cancer diagnosis alone, and our programs will continue to support and inform patients in English, Spanish, Chinese and more than 20 other languages.
